From a national Cursillo perspective Sacramento is part of a Region XI. This region includes all of California, Nevada and Hawaii. We also are one of the most culturally rich and diverse regions, with communities of Hispanic, Filipino, Vietnamese, Portuguese and Korean. All of these communities are working hard for the same goal; Bring a Friend to Christ.
Region XI holds two encounters each year. One in the spring and one in the fall. Encounters are open to all Cursillistas and are always well attended, which reflects the many blessings that attendees receive. The next one is October 3 to 5 in the Diocese of Fresno Pastoral Center.
The cost of the weekend is $55 if you want to sleep in the Pastoral Center or $35 if you want to make your own room reservations. Anyone who is interested in attending should fill out the attached form and send it with a check to the coordinator mentioned on the form.
